I am an award-winning multimedia journalist, Fulbright Fellow, and public historian who seeks to reveal the unseen, ignored, and forgotten. From receiving a Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship to create a multimedia project about how and where remember the dead, to producing a first person radio story about skateboarding with Lyme Disease, to publishing a long-form historical essay about the unexpected origins of the Minneapolis skyway system, my reporting follows unmaintained roads to find the most thought-provoking stories in the least expected places.
